Q & A

1. I would not use this page to do research on Buddhism, because the site is messy and seems unorganized. My first impression of the site was that it was put together by someone who don’t know what they were doing, or didn’t care what the site looked like.
2. Miskatonic University looks like a legitimate website, but the bottom of the page as “Additional material © 1995 by Chaosium Inc. where it connects you to some goofy website that isn’t legit.
3. The pictures and story are captivating, but according Hoax-slayer (http://www.hoax-slayer.com/tiger-piglets.html) “the photographs were actually taken at the Sriracha Tiger Zoo in Thailand and not in California. The zoo is renowned for its rather bizarre cross-species displays.”
4. Blog (from “web log”) A journal on the web, which may be public or private, individual or collaborative.
Forum/Discussion Board A facility on the web for holding discussions in the form of a series of posts that can be read or added to by many participants (or the web application software used to provide the facility).
5. adamandalissa.blogspot.com this blog is written by my friend Adam’s wife Alissa. Adam was diagnosed with cancer for the second time in his life. (the first time when he was 23, he is now 26) Alissa and sometimes Adam’s mom Cindi write this Blog to keep all of his family and friends informed.
6. I would guess that the College of Democrats website is hidden or in an area of USU.edu that doesn’t get as much traffic. The College of Republicans is most likely on the USU.edu homepage.
7. Google ranks it pages by the amount of traffic a page gets according to the words searched, and the pages selected to view.
EX if you search “baseball” Google brings up MLB.com number one, with Wikipedia number three.
